The quickly-expanding universe of WWW sites devoted to Asia is making it both easier and more difficult to find information on East,South, Southeast, and Central Asia. The increasing number of sites makes it more likely that at least one site will have the informationyou seek. But now there are more and more sites to wade through without first knowing their limitations. Readers who are interestedin ratings of new sites (from "marginal" to "essential") can subscribe to a mailing list that rates them as information is received about them. To subscribe to the mailing list, read the instructions on the web site of the Asian Studies WWW Virtual Library:http://coombs.anu.edu.au WWWVL-AsianStudies.html.
Please continue to send information about new sites to be included in this column to rlum@fas.harvard.edu
